The dolabra was an universal tool that used by the Roman people since ancient times. This tool could be used as a pickaxe (by miners and excavators), by priests during ritual religious slaughtering of animals or as a tool similar to a mattock by Roman infantry.

Total length of wooden shaft is circa 76 cms. Total weight circa 2.1 kg (4.6 lbs.).
