A reproduction of a viking buckle. The original belt set was found in 1880 in a burial mound near the farm of Gokstad (Sandar, Norway). This site was very rich in artefacts including tents, horse equipment and ships, and it is suggested that the mound belongs to the Norse king Olaf Geirstad-Alf, the King of Vestfold.
